Ok, so its been almost a month since our last post, I can't believe it. Time has been flying by with Aaron going back to work and visits from Grandma (Mum-mum) Sawin, Grandma and Grandpa Rosenbaum, and 'Aunt' Debbie.
Abigail is almost 6 weeks now and still wearing newborn clothes (they actually fit now). At last weigh-in (on 8/6) she was 7lbs 15oz. Theoretically that would put her over 8.5lbs now if she's gaining like she's supposed to. I can't really tell in the weight department, but I can definitely tell that her hands and feet, more specifically her fingers and toes are WAY bigger than when she was born. We had some early issues with weight and eating, the experts told us since she was so small/young (remember she was almost classified as a preemie) breastfeeding was too much for her, but after switching to 100% bottle feeding for a few days (breastmilk when there was enough, formula when we needed extra), we slowly got her used to breastfeeding and we're back to 100% breastfeeding and doing well.
So at 6 weeks Abi is pretty good at holding her head up, she likes to stare at us, and grab on to my shirt. She also loves to look in the mirror.
Abi also has a good day/night routine down. We're awake a lot during the day and we go right back to sleep after the mid-night feeds...Yea!!!! We're even starting to get a 4-5 hour stretch at night....double yea!!!
Duty calls....some more pics soon, I promise.
